VH-RTD  Cessna 182E Skylane                           (c/n  18253684)

                             

                                    VH-RTD was the fourth Australian registration carried by this aircraft which had previous
                                    been VH-MGE, -DOB and –RTG before in October 1966 adopting is final markings.
                                    It had been traded to Hazair at Orange for a Piper PA23-250 Aztec that took up –RTG
                                    David Carter’s photo above shows the Cessna at Bankstown on May 1, 1971.    It wa
                                    owned by a Sydney company in the mid 1970s but was based at Broken Hill when in
                                    October 2013 it was struck off the register as withdrawn from use.
