VH-RWG Cessna 172C
Skyhawk
(c/n 49044)

This 'C' model 172
was first imported in January 1962 as the floatplane VH-CBW for Cheynes
Beach Whaling
Co at Albany, WA. Fitted with wheels, it was re-registered VH-RWG
in January
1964 and went to the
Royal Aero Club of WA as a
landplane. Sold by the club later, it went on
to several other WA
owners before being
restored back as VH-CBW in July 1984 for J. Bell of
Albany. As such it is still
current. Geoff
Goodall's shot above was taken at Jandakot in January
1971.
