VH-KOY  Lockheed 414-56 Hudson III                       (c/n  6041)

                                 

                                     This was the former VH-AGS.   It was re-registered VH-KOY in 1993 and dressed up in its
                                     as a Warbird with its original serial of A16-112.   In 2002 it took place in the filming of the
                                     motion picture "The Great Raid" and was re-painted as a USN machine in drab olive and grey.
                                     It is now back in SEAC insignia and is currently owned by the Temora Aviation Museum in
                                     New South Wales    The images above and immediately below are from the Barry Maclean
                                     collection.  Above at Avalon, Victoria in the late 1990s and below at Pt. Cook, Vic, in April
                                     of 2006.  The action shot at the foot of this entry is by Geoff Goodall and was taken earlier at
                                     Wangaratta in March of 1985.    It is still to be seen on the air show circuit as evidenced by
                                     Phil Vabre's shot at the foot of the page showing it at RAAF Air Museum pageant at Point Cook
                                     in February 2008, complete with new nose art.
