VH-FAH
(1) de
Havilland D.H.82A Tiger Moth
(c/n 996)
There were two VH-FAHs. This is the
first one, ex A17-561 and VH-AUM. This machine is
displaying the early Illawarra Flying School all silver livery.
In 1954 they opted for a red (almost
vermillion) fuselage with silver wings and tail. The tail stripes
had already been initiated, however,
when this
shot was taken at Bankstown in 1952.. This VH-FAH became VH-TSA in
1956
and
VH-LJM in the new
millenium.
