VH-DSM  de Havilland D.H.104 Dove 1               (c/n  04120)

                             
                           
                                  Here's -DSM looking resplendent in the sun at Mascot in February 1966 in this nice shot by Greg
                                  Banfield.       Previously Southern Airlines' VH-GVE .it was withdrawn from service in September
                                  1981 and acquired by the Queensland Air Museum at Caloundra and re-painted in the livery of its
                                  second owner, Mandated Airlines (as VH-MAL).  Two more photos of this Dove are seen in below,
                                  both by Geoff Goodall.   Above at Mascot  in September 1965, while operated by D. S. McKellar
                                  as Chartwell Ltd on general charter work prior to a number of  years before being sold to Nicolson
                                  Air Service at Wee Waa.. The image at the bottom of the page shows it at Lismore, NSW  in April
                                  1978 when operated by Cecil Swift's Swiftair, based at that airport.
