VH-EBL (2)     Boeing 707-138B                    (c/n   18739)

                                   

                                        Seen above at Mascot in 1964 (photo by Greg Banfield) is the penultimate -138B series Boeing
                                        707s delivered to Qantas.      After only 5 years on the Australian Ciuvil Register it was sold to
                                        Braniff in June 1969 becoming N107BN.    It later went to Merpati Nusantara as PK-MBA
                                        and then was registered back in the US (N46D) before being scrapped at Shannon Airport in
                                        1993
