VH-EAU  DHC-2 Beaver                                       (c/n  646)

Another of the Beavers operated by Qantas in the mid 1950s in New Guinea.  Like its sister
VH-EAT, it possibly was mounted on floats at some point in its early career.  The color shot
below from the Geoff Goodall collection shows it at Mascot in 1958 just before it was sold
to the Snowy Mountains Hydro-Electric Authority as VH-SMB, although re-registered by
them sometime later as VH-SMH.   It wound up in Canada as C-FTCW and is still flying
                                     there.
