VH-BAM  Douglas DC-3CS1C3G                       (c/n  9811)

                          

                               This was East-West Airlines' VH-EWD which was sold in October 1966 to Brain and Brown
                               Airfreighters Pty Ltd, billing themselves at the time as "Australia's Largest Freight-Only Air
                               Service".  Geoff Goodall's shot (above) was taken at Essendon in November 1967.  VH-BAM
                               was withdrawn from use at that venue in 1975 and used for spares.  .
