SNCASE Sud-Est
SE 3000

Soon after the cessation of
hostilities in 1945, SNCASE acquired the services of famed German
helicopter designer Heinrich Focke. He had developed the
Focke-Achgelis Fa223 in Germany
during the war. The SE3000 was almost a dead
copy of that machine. The experience gained
on this, and the follow-on
machine the SE3101, eventually
led to the successful SE3130 Alouette.
