Macchi MB-308
MM52900

Eighty or so Macchi (later dubbed Aermacchi)
MB-308s were operated by the Aeronautical
Militaire as
trainers and liaison machines. This pleasing fully
cantilevered high wing two- or
three-seater
was the main Italian lightplane from 1950 until the mid 1960s, when
U.S. types
began to be
imported. A few civilian examples survive.
