                                           The O-38 was a USAAC observation aircraft, similar to the earlier O-29 and O-32.  It was the
                                           the last of the Douglas purpose-built observation machines.   This rare shot comes from the F.H.
                                           Christensen collection, via Craig Neumayer.  It was on the strength of the 116th Obv Squadron,
                                           and crashed spinning into Couer d'Alene Lake, Idaho on 19 May 1933
