                                      Boeing image of an early B-17E, taken over the Cascade Mountains.  Of the 512 B-17Es built,
                                      several were seconded to the RAF.  Others were used as bombardment trainers stateside, while
                                      others saw service in the Aleutians.  The service record of this one is unknown.
