UN-SAF      Potez 29/2                                             (c/n  ?)

Aeroput was began in 1927 as the national airline of Yugoslavia.       Six of these Potez 29/2s
formed the initial fleet, and services began linking Belgrade with Zagreb, with the first flights
beginning in February 1928.    International flights to Vienna and Thessalonika soon followed.
The UN- registration was changed to YU- when ICAO took over in 1930.  The above shot,
from the Djordje Nokolic collection is therefore quite rare, and was probably taken in 1929
just after delivery from France.  The trusty 29/2s served until at east 1937.  Following WW II
Aeroput became JAT, Yugoslavian Air Lines..
