OO-XAV Short Stirling V

Immediately after WW II many bomber types
were quickly converted to freighters. OO-XAV was
one of ten sold in Belgium mainly for the transportation of vegetable
produce from Belgium to the U.K.
and
other European commercial centers. This ex- RAF Stirling
(PK174), registered to Air Transport
was later sold to the Egyptian Air Force for crew training.
