OO-TIP  Avions Fairey (Tipsy) S-1                                      (c/n  29)

                                 

                                    Some nineteen Tipsy S-2s ('S' for Sport) were built in Belgium before WWII.   OO-TIP was the
                                    prototype, seen above in its original livery..  All machines had a variety of engines.    Soon after it
                                    was built in May 1935, OO-TIP was taken to the U.K. where it eventually became G-AFVH. 
                                    It survived the war and in 1949 was repatriated back to Belgium where it was reregistered OO-ASB.
