OO-TIC  Avions Fairey (Tipsy) Belfair                                  (c/n  533)

                                   

                                        OO-TIC was the last Belfair built in Belgium and received kudos when it achieved (at the
                                        time) the World distance record for FAI Class 1a (under 500 kg) on the 945 km flight from
                                        Brussels to Biarritz on 21 August 1950. .  The titling on the fuselage records this event.
                                        It (OO-TIC) later beat that record in 1955 with a whopping flight of 2635 km.       First
                                        flown in October 1947,  OO-TIC was withdrawn from use in 1964.
