                                   This Swissair post card was printed by off-set rotogravure process rather than as a true photo-
                                   graphic reproduction.  Hence the moire effect.   It does, hoiwever, illustrate one of Swissair's
                                   post WW II C-47s.  This example was built as a C-47B-5-DK with USAAF serial 43-48793.
                                   It was one of eight ex-military DC-3s acquired in 1947.  HB-IRD was sold in Israel in the 1950s
                                   as 4X-FAH.
