G-ADLY de
Havilland D.H.87A Hornet Moth
(c/n 8020)

This Hornet Moth was restored in 1946 and is now currently
on the UK civil register. I include
this historic shot, however, since it shows the aircraft as a D.H.87A
(tapered wing Hormet Moth)
whereas now, of course, it
is a square winged D.H.87B. Most of the 60 D.H.87As built were
retroactively fitted with
the square tips.
