G-ABVU  Avro 631 Cadet                                       (c/n  592)

This grainy old image came from a print in my father's scrapbook.  (Probably gleaned from when he
worked at Harrison's the printers).   36 Type 631s tandem 2-seaters were built, mainly for civilian
operators.  More common was the Type 643 Cadet II (at least in Australia).   Of the Type 631s,
about half were impressed into service with the RAF in 1939.  G-ABVU lasted through WW II
and was only scrapped in 1951.
