LV-ACY  Douglas DC-3                                (c/n 12291)

                                    

                                        LV-ACY began life as a C-47A-5-DK (USAAF serial number 42-92485).  It was transferred to
                                        the RAF as Dakota III FZ688.    Formerly allocated to the Aeroposta fleet, it passed to Aerolineas
                                        Argentinas in 1949.   It was written off in a crash just after taking off from at Rio Grande airport on
                                        26 March 1951
