Something like 100 Stinson
L-5s were civilianized in India after WW II. There were,
after all,
a pot
load of them used in the CBI theater (China-Burma-India).
Several, like the one above,
found
their way on the fleets of flying clubs (in this case the Madras Flying
Club) where they
served as
adequate, if not purpose-built, trainers.
