VT-ADN  de Havilland D.H.80 Puss Moth                             (c/n  2176)

                             

                                  Rare shot, via Piyush Khaitan of the aircraft which flew the Bombay to Madras section of the first
                                  Tata Sons Ltd (Aviation Division) air mail flight in India. Pilot was Neville Vincent.   (The Karachi-
                                  Bombay segment was flown by VT-ACZ).  VT-ADN was the former G-ABMN registered to
                                  Sqn Ldr The Hon Pelham I Cochrane, Heston.  It was sold to J.R.D. Tata in June 1932 and flown
                                  out to India by Mr. Tata himself.   It was written off in September 1935, although details of the exact
                                  reason have been lost in the annuls of time.
