SU-AFE Fiat G-212CP
(c/n
NC.8)

Seen above, loading at Cairo, is the first of
four Fiat G-212s ordered by S.A.I.D.E. in 1947.
They
were used mainly on the Cairo-Beirut run. A sister aircraft,
SU-AFF, was a casualty of
the 1956 Suez War
and was destroyed on the ground in a strafing attack at Suez City.
