CR-ABQ  Douglas DC-3CS1C3G                        (c/n 12760)

                                  

                                     Another rare DETA Airlines shot taken by "Connie" Heggblom at Lourenco Marques, Mozambique
                                     in the 1950s.   CR-ABQ was a former C-47A-15-DK with USAAF serial 42-92907.  Like most
                                     of the other DETA DC-3s it went to the Portuguese Air Force, and was given the military serial 6174.
                                     It was then reputed to have gone to Zaire, although its ultimate fate is obscure..
