5Y-AIW   DHC-2 Beaver 1                                               (c/n   1596)

                                    

                                       5Y-AIW, along with its mate, -AIV, went to Kenya from New Zealand in 1969 for the Desert
                                       Locust Control  Organization.  David Carter caught them both at Bankstown in 1969.  -AIW
                                       was the former ZK-CTJ and delivered new to New Zealand in 1965..   So far as I know, this
                                       Beaver is still operating in East Africa.
