CF-KSK  Beech J35 Bonanza                      (c/n  D5637)

                                        

                                               The 1957 Model H35 was actually the first of the "second generation" of Bonanzas.  This model
                                               had been out one year before the J35, seen above, was introduced in 1958.  Noticeable difference,
                                               of course, to the earlier models, was the addition of a window aft of the second square one.  This
                                               window gradually kept getting bigger as subsequent variants of this popular V-tail aircraft evolved.
                                               This shot was taken at the Beech distributorship at Van Nuys Airport, Southern California, in the
                                               early 1960s.  The long range tip tanks were an optional extra.
