CF-ICK  de Havilland Canada DHC-2 Beaver            (c/n  796)

                                             

                                                    Surprisingly, this Beaver is still current and has logged some 35,000 hours on the airframe.
                                                    I would venture to suggest that very little of the original remains!  Anyway, it was operated by
                                                    QCA for many years, although this shot, from the Jennifer Gradidge collection appears to have
                                                    been taken before its service with that airline. Neil Aird has more on this bird on his "Beaver
                                                    Tails" site at  http://www.dhc-2.com/id456.htm and I would love to send him a copy of this
                                                    image if only I could only figure my way through his complex site to come up with an email
