CF-CZW Bristol
175 Britannia 314
(c/n 13453)
Here's the "Empress of Edmonton" being towed
to the gate at Vancouver in 1959 ready for
the long flight to Hong
Kong. This Britannia was practically brand new at the time,
having
been delivered to the
airline in August of 1958. It was leased, first to British
Eagle and then
to
Caledonian Airways as G-ASTF before being scrapped in 1970.
