CF-CZA Bristol
175 Britannia 314
(c/n 13393)
This photograph came from the
archives of Short Bros. & Harland Ltd, who built this series 300
Britannia. It is
seen in the U.K. prior to delivery in 1958. CPAL named it 'Buenos
Aires' (later
'Hong Kong'). It went to
British United Airlines in 1965 and eventually wound up with African
Safari Airways as
5Y-ALP. It was scrapped in 1971. Today, a thirteen
yeat old airliner is
considered almost new!
