CF-BXO    Supermarine Stranraer

This image came from the vast Jennifer Gradidge collection.   If the actual photographer will
contact me, I will ensure source credit.  This Stranraer was one of 14 civilianized RCAF
machines after WW II and languished at Sea Island Airport, Vancouver for many years
before being rescued and added to the RAF Museum collection at Hendon, where it now
reposes.  It was one of the Queen Charlotte Airlines craft which plied the routes between
Vancouver Island and the mainland in the 1940s.   Johan Visschedijk has a nice thumbnail
