Northrop YC-125A
Raider XB-GEY
Developed from the
earlier civilian N-23 Pioneer. The USAF ordered 23 of these
three
engine transports primarily for
Arctic rescue work. This one was formerly 48-0636, and was
purchased by a
Mexican operator upon being declared surplus. It wound up in the
Pima Air
Museum in Arizona, as my shot above,
taken in the late1990s, illustrates.
