Grumman J4F-2 Widgeon    N4147A               (c/n  1293)

                                             

                                                    This was the former US Navy BuAer 32939, built in 1942 and civilianized in 1946 as N1068M.
                                                    My photograph was taken at Long Beach in 1962 shortly after it became N4147A.  This aircraft
                                                    is now under restoration in Canada to become C-FWVV (2012)     It is reputed to be the lowest
                                                    time Widgeon with around 1,107 hours on the airframe.  .
