Beech AT-11 Kansan   N6865C                     (c/n

                                          

                                                Some 90% of the Army Air Corps bombadiers received their training on this type of aircraft.
                                                It was basically a Beech 18 with a glazed nose and a dorsal turret, both of which were faired
                                                over when the aircraft was adapted for civilian use.  This example was seen at Santa Monica
                                                Municipal Airport (Clover Field) in December of 1958.  Unfortunately I havc no data on the
                                                previous identity of this machine.
