Gulfstream Aerospace Gulfstream III  N862G         (c/n  329)

                                 

                                     By 1978 Gulfstream American, the company which took over production rights from Grumman for
                                     the Gulfstream line had updated their title to Gulfstream Aerospace Corp.  Noticeable difference
                                     between the Mark II and Mark III Gulfstreams were, of course, the winglets, although in addition,
                                     the fuselage had been lengthened by some 4 ft.   N862G, seen here at El Paso in 1981 was owned
                                     by General Dynamics.
