Travel Air C-4000   NC379M                                          (c/n  1300)

                                    

                                        The C-4000 was a three seat open cockpit biplane produced in some numbers in 1929-30.
                                        Origjinally powered by a 170 hp Curtiss Challenger engine, this one had a Continental R670
                                        up front when I saw it an an air show at Lancaster, California in 2000.   This aircraft is till on
                                        the register (as of 2011).
