Meyers MAC 145      N34373                        (c/n  216)

This, in my book, was one of the nicest looking 2-seat taildraggers ever built.  It was developed
from the earlier, immediate post-war model 125.   The 145 has a Continental C145-2H engine,
giving an honest 145 mph cruise.   22 or so were manufactured in the Tecumseh, Michigan plant
in the early 1950s.   A tribute to the design is that some 15 of them are still on the register.
Unfortunately N34373 isn't one of them.  This shot  was taken at Torrance Municipal Airport in 1961.
