Cessna 310C     N1767H                  (c/n  35867)


                                       

                                           The Model 310 was built in just about every lettered suffix.   This particular example is a 310C
                                           and illustrates my caption comments on the straight 310 (previous entry) on how difficult it was
                                           to photograph this aircraft with those massive wing tip tanks.  The best angle is probably the 3/4
                                           head on view like the lower shot of N6681B at Long Beach in 1961 shows.  Later suffix models
                                           the 310 series had swept back tails and all kinds of improvements, but those later models are not
                                           really in the "Classic" range.
