Cessna 175
N6586E
(c/n 56086)

In 1958 Cessna
introduced the Model 175. This was basically an updated version
of the
Model
172 with a number of improvements (free-blown windscreen, glass fibre
speed fairings,
etc ) and a
175 hp Continental GO-300-C engine driving a constant speed
propeller. The new
example above blew into LAX
one day in early 1959. (I'll bet the ATC Controllers loved that).
