SOCATA was formed in 1966
as a subsidiary of Sud Aviation. Subsequent mergers then made it
a subsidiary of
Aerospatiale. The Horizon was produced under license from
Yves Gardan. This
1967 example was seen at El Monte
Airport, Southern California in 1997. Looks pretty good for
a thirty year old machine.
