                                             Significant enhancements were made to the basic Cherokee design in 1967 by the inclusion of
                                             a retractable tricycle undercarriage, fuel injection engine and a constant speed propellor as
                                             standard equipment.   These later models often dropped the name 'Cherokee' and were merely
                                             referred to as the Piper Archer, or Warrior, etc.
