Aviation in 1972 it updated the AA-5 Traveler model into two
newer versions, the AA-5A Cheetah (150 hp Avco Lycoming O-320-E2G) and
the AA-5B Tiger
equipped with the more
powerful 180 hp Avco Lycoming O-360-A4K engine. This 1977
model
Cheetah was seen at Camarillo Airport, Southern california in 1999.
