Standard Airlines Fokker Super Universal  N9793                             (c/n  879)

                               

                                    Standard Airlines was founded in February 1926 as a division of the Aero Corporation of
                                    California under the leadership of Jack Frye, later of TWA fame.  Services were provided
                                    to Tucson, via Phoenix.  Later the route was extended to El Paso.  Chief equipment was
                                    Fokker F-VIIs, although this Super Universal was also used.    Standard was absorbed
                                    by Western Air Express in 1930 and then sold off to American Airlines.
