Reeve Aleutian
Airways Grumman G-21A Goose N95468 (c/n
1140)
This Grumman Goose was added to the Reeve
Airways fleet in 1948. At that time the airline name
was changed to
Reeve Aleutian Airways, as being more indicative of the area
served. Initially, scheduled
flights were
flown on Mondays only (with additional flights as needed).
This soon expanded as more
facilities became available down the island chain. The

of
Alaska Transportation & Industry (via Lars Opland).
