                                        Pan American used a fleet of 10 Curtiss C-46s on its Latin American cargo operations in the late
                                        1940s and 1950s.  One of these, N74170, an ex-USAAF C-46F-1-CU (44-78654) is seen loading
                                        freight (bales of cotton?) at Miami in 1949.
