                                       Here are two rare images from the archives of the Museum of Alaska Transportation & Industry
                                       illustrating the one and only Ford 8-AT single engine bush aircraft.  Pacific Alaska operated it in
                                       wheel, float and ski configurations.  It was used in purely a freight role and had a useful load of
                                       3,500 lbs.
