Noel Wien acquired this Fokker
Super UIniversal at about the same time as the Ford Trimotor.
This fuzzy image came from the
book "Sourdough
Sky: A Pictorial History of
Flights and
Flyers in the Bush Country"
by Stephen Mills. (Superior Publishing Co, 1969). The shot
below of the same machine (there were only ever 2 or
3 Super Universals in early Alaskan
aviation history) came from the archives of the Alaska Aviation
Heritage Museum.and shows
the aircraft being unloaded.
