National Airlines Convair 340-47   N8412H           (c/n   108)

                                             

                                                    In 1953 National began updating its fleet with newly acquired Convair 340s, (although it did
                                                    not finally retire its aging Lodestars until 1959).  The Convairs were used on intermediate stage
                                                    routes from New Orleans to Jacksonville and north into the Carolinas.  This NAL photograph
                                                    shows N8412H taxiing  for take-off at Jacksonville in 1956.    It was sold to Hawaiian Airlines
                                                    in 1959.
