Eddie Hubbard was an ex Army Air Corp pilot who joined Boeing after WW

October 1920 he
inaugurated a regular air mail service from Seattle to Victoria, using
this Boeing
B-1 flying boat with the 1921
all letter registration . It was, in fact, the first commercial

Company. Although not incorporated as such, Eddie
Hubbard's airline
was known
as the Seattle-Victoria Air Mail Line. It operated for
several years. Hubbard later
joined
Boeing and became director of Boeing Air Transport.
