Hawaiian Airlines Beech D-18C NC80181
(c/n unknown)
Hawaiian
Airlines has often played around with short haul airliners, presumably
for runs to islands
with reduced traffic
demands. In the mid 1960s they had some NAMC YS-11s
and a decade
later a couple of Shorts 330s.
None seemed to remain in favor for long as they appeared to favor
the more heavily trafficked
routes, and lay the other schedules off to smaller companies. This
Beech
was one of two operated in the
late 1940s.
