Frontier Airlines Convair 600   N74855                             (c/n

This rare shot is from the Gil Bliss collection.  Frontier did not operate the eleven 600s they
picked with their merge with Central in 1967 for very long.  By 1969 they were all gone. By
that time Boeing 737s were going on line. The Rolls-Royce turboprops of the 600 were not
standard to the airline and proved difficult to service.   N74855 went to Wright Airlines.
